Purpose Path Counseling Services
Purpose Path Counseling Services helps you navigate the complexities of intersectional trauma.
How? With transformative counseling, consultation, and educational workshops. And by providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals, families, and institutions—a place where you can feel understood and validated.
Together, we’ll explore the impact of your trauma, look at behaviors or thought patterns that may be holding you back—and identify your strengths.
Ideally, we should all live in a society where we feel safe to seek help without fear of judgment. Too often, stigma keeps people silent, leaving mental health issues untreated and challenges unaddressed.
The impact of trauma on mental health is both real and common—and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Purpose Path Counseling Services provides a safe, compassionate, and accepting space for you to explore and heal from your trauma. The aim is to empower you to overcome shame, strengthen resilience, and take charge of your healing journey.
Change can be uncomfortable and challenging. However, it provides the pathway to recovery.
If you’ve experienced trauma, you may be feeling overwhelmed by fear, shame, or self-doubt. Moving through these limiting beliefs—and embracing change—helps you create your path to purpose.
We encourage you to face your trauma, process your experiences, and gradually embrace change to help you heal and regain control over your life. The goal is for you to feel empowered to create healthier relationships, make decisions that align with your values, and live your most more authentic, fulfilling life.
I’m dedicated to encouraging the possibility of change and destigmatizing mental health treatment within Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and underprivileged communities.
As a proud survivor and an overcomer, I’m demonstrating to others that healing and growth are possible. With passion, authenticity, and altruism, I share my personal experience with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and workplace trauma—and how I’ve navigated being the wife of an Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) veteran with combat theatre exposure.
Working as a Spanish interpreter sparked my decision to focus on forensic health counseling. I earned my master’s in human services and became a Licensed Professional Counselor, Trauma and Relationship Specialist, Speaker, and Author. I’m also CEO and Founder of Purpose Path Counseling Services, LLC and The Purpose Project. All my services are available in Spanish and English.
Empowering others to make positive changes in their lives and becoming a published author as a Licensed Professional Counselor are my proudest accomplishments. The two books I’ve written are 7 Steps to Healing Workplace Trauma: Self-Care Workbook for Professional Women of Color and Path to Purpose: A Journey to Healing Complex PTSD.
The best advice I’ve received is to never stop learning because material things, money, and your life can be taken away at any moment, but education and knowledge will always be a part of you—and the legacy you leave behind.
My favorite quote comes from Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11. This bible verse is a continued reminder that I was created to walk my own path to purpose and with a purpose.
Let’s map out your path to a purposeful and fulfilling life. Purpose Path Counseling Services can provide the guidance and support you need to discover your purpose, overcome barriers, and realize your full potential.
